Promise House embraces homeless, runaway and at-risk teens, giving them needed support, encouragement and hope to live a better life. Their programs cover the vital needs of teens, including emergency shelter, transitional living, pregnant and parenting teen services, individual, group and family counseling, street outreach and educational intervention. Since 1984, Promise House has served over 70,000 teens and families in North Texas.

Wee volunteers will participate in 3 service learning projects. First, we will help Promise House move youth in crisis towards safety and success by providing power packs for their street outreach program. Then we will have an interactive discussion about basic necessities and homelessness. Finally, we will learn about Promise House and some of the services provided with a tour of the main building.
