Since 1982, Rainbow Days has been meeting the critical needs of children in our community. Rainbow Days inspires and prepares children to live a life filled with hope and promise through several core programs, including: curriculum-based support groups, classroom education, summer camps, and mentored arts & sports activities for low-income and homeless children. Rainbow Days serves over 15,000 children and youth, ages 4-15, each year in the Dallas area.
This project was coordinated for Brownie Troop #5403, part of Hyer’s Helping Hands. The girls will learn about Rainbow Days and the children served, write notes of encouragement and put the notes into 1,500 pairs of socks, donated by Hyer’s Helping Hands, to be given to children in need attending Rainbow Days’ Saturday with Santa event.

Space is limited to 20 volunteers
A donation of supplies or a $15 donation to Wee Volunteer per child is required to cover the cost of the project.
