NEW PROJECT!
Refugee Services of Texas provides comprehensive relocation services to refugees fleeing persecution. Last year, they helped over 650 refugees. Volunteers will meet at the apartment office to learn about the plight of an Ethiopian family of 9 trying to gain refugee status. Then, we will create “Welcome Home” packages with donated items and handmade inspirational cards.
Each family please bring one backpack and the following items for the “Welcome Home” package: coloring book, crayons, spiral notebook, and pencils.
Appropriate for families with children ages 5 years+
